Mumbai: Comedian and actor Kapil Sharma has revealed a fresh poster for his forthcoming film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2.
On Sunday, the beloved television personality took to Instagram to share a collaborative post with the film's production team. The poster showcases Kapil alongside his on-screen bride, captured in a moment of prayer at the mandap. The actress's face is hidden behind a veil, while Kapil gazes upward, seemingly seeking divine intervention in a challenging situation.
While Kapil's expression appears tense, the actress's features convey a sense of joy.
In his caption, Kapil extended wishes for a joyful Shri Ram Navami to his followers.
Previously, Kapil made a brief appearance in the film ‘Crew’ last year, which also featured stars like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon.
The film is directed by Anukal Goswami, who takes over from the original directors, Abbas-Mustan, who helmed the first installment in 2015. Anukal, who co-wrote the first film, has also worked with Kapil on The Kapil Sharma Show. Abbas-Mustan are credited as producers, alongside Ratan Jain and Ganesh Jain.
In December of last year, Kapil addressed accusations of disrespecting producer-director Atlee during an episode of his streaming show The Great Indian Kapil Show. The episode, featuring Atlee, Varun Dhawan, and Wamiqa Gabbi, sparked controversy over Kapil's alleged mockery of Atlee's appearance.
In response to a clip shared on social media, one user remarked, “Kapil Sharma subtly insults Atlee's looks? Atlee responds like a boss: Don’t judge by appearance, judge by the heart.”
Kapil defended himself, stating he never commented on Atlee's looks during the episode. He urged, “Dear sir, can you please clarify where I discussed looks in this video? Please refrain from spreading negativity online. Thank you. Everyone, watch and form your own opinion; don’t follow tweets blindly.”
